About The Position

The A1 Lead supports the Project Manager at an AbilityOne account. This role is both direct and supervisory, ensuring the workforce is guided positively and employees receive the training and coaching needed to perform at their best. In addition, the A1 Lead assists the Project Manager with daily operations and team development. When the Project Manager is absent, the A1 Lead serves as the primary liaison between building management, the Contracting Officer Representative, the Job One team, and Job One leadership.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the designed field of work.
• 1-year supervisory experience.
• Proven ability and/or willingness to work well with diverse constituencies, respect the rights and dignity of people with disabilities and willingness to advocate on their behalf.
• Must be proficient in using Paycor and other designated software applications required for job performance.
• Strong, positive attitude and work ethic.
• Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment screening by Job One and government entities, including drug testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. depending on site requirements

Nice To Haves

• May need to be Forklift Certified if contract requires
• May be required to be First Aid & CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with the team to complete daily assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate respect toward coworkers, building associates, and all stakeholders.
• Support the Project Manager in implementing the defined Scope of Work on a daily basis.
• Ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
• Provide quality training, guidance, and leadership to team members as directed by the Project Manager.
• Uphold and promote company ethics and standards.
• Ensure employees understand their responsibilities and perform them efficiently.
• Communicate employee concerns promptly to HR, the Project Manager, and the Director of Contracts.
• Perform all job duties in compliance with contract requirements and the established quality plan.
