About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations and support a team of janitorial staff. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on cleaning expertise, and the ability to manage schedules while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. Requirements

  • Supervisory or team lead experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff to ensure quality performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Assign daily tasks and manage team workflow to meet operational needs.
  • Perform and oversee floor cleaning duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet care.
  • Ensure proper general janitorial processes are followed, including cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, and restocking supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues as needed.
  • Track and manage employee schedules, attendance, and shift coverage.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding workflow, issues, and improvements.
