ProSidian Seeks a Lead IT QA Consultant in CONUS/OCONUS - Olympia, WA and Tumwater, WA to support an engagement for an Agency dedicated to the safety, health and security of 2.5 million workers and helping employers meet safety and health standards and the Agency also inspects workplaces when alerted to hazards. As administrators of the state's workers' compensation system, The Washington State Department Of Labor And Industries is similar to a large insurance company, providing medical and limited wage-replacement coverage to workers who suffer job-related injuries and illness. ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide expert level Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) consulting services supporting a full cross-agency “business transformation” initiatives intended to achieve the mission of keeping citizens in the state safe and working. The business transformation (BT) calls for modernizing the agency's extensive technology infrastructure and corresponding business processes over several years. The client is starting with people and processes – ensuring the best way to do business and collectively understand business priorities and customers’ expectations. Then, they will invest in new technology to support those process improvements and achieve stated goals and objectives. Over the next several years, L&I will modernize technology across the Dept., which will take place in phases. Key focus areas shall be The current workers’ compensation system; L&I’s Insurance System (LINIIS) is an application comprised of many sub- systems and used to process and manage workers’ compensation claims; Organized Information Online (ORION) is an integrated document management (IDM) and business process management (BPM) workflow application where the work is managed; Early Claims Solutions (ECS) is an application used by both claims and employer services staff; Independent Medical Examination (IME) application; Medical Information Payment System (MIPS); Benefit Payment System (BPS), and Pension Payment System (PPS); and VOC-LINK is an application for private vocational rehabilitation providers. Lead IT QA Consultant Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and lead IT QA Consultant will conduct independent quality assurance (QA), Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), oversight and assessment activities in alignment with the Client Organizations requirements, policies, guidelines including but not limited to the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Policy 132. The focus will be made on enterprise professional services covering Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), Modified Commercial off The Shelf (MOTS), custom build applications/systems, .etc. As part of on-going System Modernization and other agency Business Transformation (BT) Projects. These enterprise professional services will be required for current application/technology/Process/People Solutions as well as future BT Related Procurements (including projected procurement timeframes) which may include: Enabling Technologies, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, Conveyance Management Systems, Workers’ Compensations System Modernization (WCSM) project and other agency projects. The Lead IT QA Consultant is expected to ensure that QA services are provided in alignment with a client’s overall project schedule. Additionally, they would be responsible for supporting the written assessment reports developed by the team and overseeing the recommendations developed to ensure they provide early warning to our clients of potential risks; including, actionable input and recommendations that can be tracked to completion.
