Lead IT Engineer - Corporate Engineering

Neko HealthNew York, NY

About The Position

Mission Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and clinical care combine to deliver personalized, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives. This is a senior, autonomous role for someone who takes full ownership of our internal environment and isn't waiting to be told what to fix. You'll own our IT infrastructure end-to-end, covering identity and access management, device management, productivity tooling, and our endpoint fleet across macOS and Windows. You'll build automations that reduce workload, maintain hardware across clinic and manufacturing environments, and make decisions independently at pace. We currently run a Microsoft-heavy environment (Azure, Intune, M365), but if you've managed equivalent stacks using other platforms and can ramp quickly, that works for us. The right person for this role uses AI every day, not as a novelty but as a core part of how they work. Whether that's Power Automate, Copilot, Claude Code, or other agentic tooling, these should already be part of your toolkit.

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing IT infrastructure at scale: identity and access management, device management, endpoint management, and productivity platforms
  • Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise stack (Microsoft Azure/Intune/M365, Google Workspace/JAMF, or equivalent). Microsoft experience is a plus but not required if you can demonstrate equivalent depth elsewhere
  • A genuine power user of AI tools with real examples of how you've used them to improve how you work: Copilot, Claude Code, agentic tooling, or similar
  • Strong practical experience with automation platforms (Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, or scripting-based approaches)
  • Comfortable supporting macOS environments alongside Windows
  • Hardware ownership experience across endpoints, manufacturing, or operational environments
  • Working knowledge of security operations and endpoint protection tooling
  • Someone who makes decisions, takes ownership, and doesn't need constant direction

Nice To Haves

  • AV or clinic-specific systems experience
  • Cisco or networking fundamentals
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare
  • A track record of building internal documentation and knowledge bases
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/Intune/M365 specifically (if not your primary stack, willingness to learn quickly)

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of our IT infrastructure from day one, including identity management, device management, and productivity tooling
  • Build and ship automations that meaningfully reduce manual work across the business
  • Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base so that operational knowledge doesn't live in one person's head
  • Own hardware lifecycle decisions across clinic and manufacturing environments
  • Contribute to our shared security posture, working with endpoint security tooling and operational security workflows day to day
  • Make independent calls on onboarding, admin access, tooling, and hardware without needing sign-off at every turn
  • Join the on-call rotation once per week, additionally compensated

Benefits

  • Additionally compensated for on-call rotation
