About The Position

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our 120-bed facility provides specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults. The Lead Intake Counselor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Intake Department, ensuring timely and appropriate patient assessment, coordination of care, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. This position provides clinical and operational support while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities and assisting with oversight of staff within the Intake Department.

Requirements

• Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW Required.
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or related field
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain
