About The Position

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Insulator/Metal Men will be required to conduct Insulation work, mechanical, apply/remove insulating materials to pipes and ductwork or other mechanical systems in order to help control and maintain temperature. Required to select type and size of insulation and related materials according to specifications. Will measure and cut sections of insulation to the proper length. Will fasten the insulation with adhesive, staples, tape or wire bands. May wrap a cover of aluminum, plastic, or canvas over the insulation and cement or band the cover in place. May screw on metal around the insulated pipes to protect the insulation from the weather or physical abuse.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High school degree
  • Construction/Refinery experience
  • Organization and time management
  • Good aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Good reading comprehension
  • Ability to work with others – including good communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to work 5 days a week, or as needed
