About The Position

MNTSTUDIO's first South Bay Location is looking for a Certified Lead Instructor to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where teaching expertise, team-building skills, and a love of movement will shape client experiences and the next generation of instructors.

Requirements

• Certified Pilates Instructor with strong Reformer expertise
• Minimum 3 years of group teaching experience
• Proven leadership ability and a passion for mentorship
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• A growth mindset and commitment to education, wellness, and community

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing teams or teacher training programs a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee instructor scheduling and day-to-day team coordination across studios
• Ensure the substitution process is running smoothly with accountability
• Conduct class audits and performance reviews to support instructor growth and elevate quality
• Mentor and coach instructors, cultivating a supportive and collaborative studio culture
• Teach ~15 inspiring Reformer classes and private sessions each week, creating safe, empowering, and dynamic experiences for clients of all levels
• Set the tone for excellence through your energy, presence, and professionalism
• Step in as the primary substitute instructor when needed
• Be the embodiment and ambassador for MNT
• Complete the MNTSTUDIO Reformer Certification Program and help train others in the MNTSTUDIO Signature Method
• Partner with the VP of Training & Head of Education to identify and onboard new instructors
• Lead the South Bay Instructor Mentorship Program, helping trainees grow into confident, skilled teachers
• Support the growth and execution of MNT’s Reformer Certification Program and Heated Mat Certification Program and other education initiatives
• Take initiative in outreach and recruitment for upcoming Teacher Trainings
• Ensure all Pilates equipment is maintained and in excellent condition
• Step in as acting Studio Manager when needed to keep operations running seamlessly
• Support studio sales and marketing efforts including at times attending events on behalf of MNT
