Lead Instructor - Palm Springs
About The Position
codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor to work in the Palm Springs area for the 2026-27 school year. As a Lead Instructor, you will work with site staff at our partner schools in the area, lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum, and teach students in grades K-8th. This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. No coding experience is necessary as training will be provided. codeCampus is California's largest provider of in-school and after school STEAM education, focusing on helping children develop a positive relationship with STEAM and prepare for future careers.
Requirements
- Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
- Availability - 7.5 instructional hours + 5 hours of prep time = 12.5 hours paid per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 2:30pm - 4:00pm
- Wednesday - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
- Must be willing to cover multiple different schools within the Palm Springs Unified School District
- Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Willing to go through our professional development training program
