Lead Installer / Install Technician - Join Our Growing Team
About The Position
Classic Rock Fabrication is seeking both Lead Installers and Install Technicians to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the delivery and installation of high-quality countertops, ensuring adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction. Depending on experience, candidates will be considered for either a Lead or Technician role. Install Technician (Entry to Mid-Level) Install Technicians support the installation process and work alongside Lead Installers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. Lead Installer (Experienced) Lead Installers are responsible for overseeing installations, ensuring quality workmanship, and leading installation teams on job sites.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments
- 2–4 years of installation or construction experience required
- Strong knowledge of countertop installation or similar trade
- Ability to lead a team and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to read measurements and use tools accurately
Nice To Haves
- No experience required; construction or labor experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Load and unload countertops, backsplashes, and materials
- Assist with installation of countertops following company standards
- Utilize basic construction and fabrication tools
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform full countertop installations, including seam setting, leveling, and finishing
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Supervise and guide Install Technicians/helpers
- Communicate with customers on-site and ensure a positive experience
- Complete job documentation and maintain job site cleanliness
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
