About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead, Infrastructure Administration Engineer to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Requirements

• 8+ years in Security Operations
• Experience managing network and perimeter security environments
• Hands-on experience with Check Point and Cisco ASA firewalls
• Hands-on experience with Proxy solutions
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Strong understanding of routing protocols
• Strong understanding of client/server architectures
• Strong understanding of network traffic flow (ingress/egress)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including use of metrics and data
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow technical teams
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical groups
• Experience providing strategic and operational guidance

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations, including incident and change management
• Provide technical leadership to ensure rapid incident detection and resolution
• Participate in and lead response efforts for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents
• Ensure operational readiness for troubleshooting and change execution
• Lead a distributed team of U.S.-based and offshore engineers (FTEs and contractors)
• Support career growth through coaching, mentoring, and skill development
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture
• Act as the escalation point for critical security incidents
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional response efforts to minimize business impact
• Partner with Perimeter and Edge Engineering teams to align operations with design
• Support rollout and operationalization of new security capabilities
• Review and approve operational changes with appropriate risk assessments
• Identify and escalate risks tied to changes or exceptions
• Maintain accountability for production changes
• Manage lifecycle and health of: Firewall platforms, Proxy technologies (including Zscaler)
• Ensure systems are secure, updated, and optimized
• Enhance processes, workflows, and operational standards
• Drive measurable improvements in efficiency and security outcomes
