About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Information Security & Governance Specialist to join the Lab Operations team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position leads and maintains program information security for assigned systems to meet the program and enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. It also manages Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, product development and product maintenance for assigned systems, and manages and performs security compliance continuous monitoring. The role involves leading and participating in security assessments and audits, identifying root causes, prioritizing threats, and recommending/implementing corrective action. Additionally, the Lead Information Security & Governance Specialist provides mentoring and technical leadership to the information security program team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, information protection, risk management, and/or Information Technology (IT) compliance
  • Experience building relationships with internal and/or external customers
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Experience conducting investigations and/or audits
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

  • 3+ years of experience managing equipment baselines utilizing auditing tools
