About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to join the BISO organization. This role is a hybrid role, requiring three days a week in the office and two days remote. The ideal candidate is a strong security professional with prior experience working with or as a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to drive impact. This position is for an experienced cybersecurity professional capable of identifying significant risks, transforming complex data into actionable insights, and confidently presenting risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders. It is not a developmental role; candidates should have a proven track record in this type of work, a solid understanding of cyber risk, and the ability to quickly establish credibility with senior audiences. The role's primary focus is assessing risk across Cybersecurity domains including Application Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and AI Security. Responsibilities include analyzing data from multiple sources, identifying trends and patterns, evaluating technologies and tools for security concerns, and communicating well-vetted risks to business and technology leaders. Success hinges on strong analytical thinking, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions through clear, data-driven recommendations. The candidate should excel at identifying trends and patterns, building compelling narratives, and creating professional presentations that anticipate senior stakeholder questions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years’ experience in Power BI
  • Experience in pulling and analyzing data and delivering executive presentations

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent
  • Well versed experience and knowledge across the cybersecurity domains.
  • Demonstrate clear, articulate written and verbal communication.
  • Experience having worked in financial services institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze cybersecurity data to identify trends, patterns, emerging threats, and areas of risk.
  • Evaluate risk across Cybersecurity domains.
  • Assess technologies, tools, and platforms for potential security concerns and control gaps.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards that translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations.
  • Present cybersecurity risks and mitigation recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Anticipate questions, defend findings, and influence decision-making through data-driven analysis.
  • Partner across cybersecurity and technology teams to proactively reduce risk and strengthen security posture.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous cyber risk-based improvement.
