About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst in Cybersecurity as part of Identity Access Management. This role serves as a strategic liaison between IAM, technology, and line of business partners, helping drive adoption of IAM capabilities, remediation of access management risks, and alignment to enterprise security controls. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and IAM partners to understand operational impacts, influence prioritization, and enable successful execution of IAM initiatives across the organization. This role also involves demonstrating proficiency in using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., Copilot and approved code-centric agents), leveraging AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, data summarization, and troubleshooting, applying strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI-assisted outputs into solutions, understanding and accounting for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations, applying AI responsibly in development and production environments, and ensuring AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security with a strong focus on IAM

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience supporting IAM onboarding migrations, or transformation initiatives
• Experience evaluating the business, operational, and control impacts of IAM initiatives across large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience applying enterprise IAM capabilities including authentication, identity governance, privileged access management, MFA, directory services, API access management, and identity analytics to support business onboarding, adoption, migrations, and access issue resolution across cloud and hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of IAM security principles, processes, and best practices such as principle of least privilege and zero-trust architecture
• Experience managing IAM-related risk, control remediation efforts, and issue resolution activities across business and technology teams
• Experience analyzing and interpreting control requirements, policies, and regulatory expectations, and translating them into practical business actions
• Ability to influence product roadmaps using data and business impact
• Familiarity with Agile or product-driven environment
• Ability to assess downstream business, operational, customer, and risk impacts of IAM decisions and initiatives
• Experience working directly with business issues, applications and product owners
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage business units to identify IAM pain points, adoption barriers, and access challenges across initiatives
• Understand business workflows, dependencies, and access requirements to ensure IAM solutions align with real‑world use cases
• Influence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to IAM enterprise solutions
• Act as a strategic IAM partner for business units, ensuring consistent engagement, alignment, and adoption of IAM capabilities.
• Gather and translate business requirements into structured inputs for IAM product and engineering teams
• Translate business feedback and access challenges into actionable product insights to improve IAM capabilities and user experience
• Evaluate and interpret information security policies, standards, and processes to enable consistent adoption and informed decision-making across IAM initiatives.
• Advise on the development and delivery of IAM Enterprise Solutions
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
• Demonstrate proficiency in using AI‑assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., Copilot and approved code‑centric agents)
• Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, data summarization, and troubleshooting
