About The Position

A Little Journey Montessori School is looking for a lead infant room teacher. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is consistent and reliable, loves working with others and young children, is adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances and environment, and can take charge of classroom management and work alongside other teachers. This is an amazing opportunity for those interested in a career in Montessori and/or early childhood teaching and education. We are looking to hire a qualified teacher for this licensed childcare facility. We are looking for a full-time wonderful, loving, caring lead infant teacher with Montessori experience preferred but not required. We are open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Requirements

• Hands-on infant, Child, and Adult CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass criminal a background check for state licensing requirements.
• Verification of Immunizations (MMR and tDap).
• Training courses for state licensing requirements within 30 and 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori experience preferred but not required
• Montessori experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid lead teachers with classroom management.
• Change diapers as needed.
• Supervise young children inside and outside.
• Cleaning up after children and light chores throughout the day.
• Assisting children with their individual needs.
• Aiding lead teachers with tasks throughout the day.
• Communicating with other teachers and parents.
