About The Position

Are you passionate about nurturing infants during the most important stages of their development? We are seeking a caring, experienced, and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. Requirements

Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early childhood setting is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with young children.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor's Degree including 12 credits in Early Childhood Education, or a Bachelor's Degree plus 12 credits in Early Childhood Education; or
An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or directly related field) and four years of teaching experience in a child care center or other educational program serving young children.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for infants.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support each child's growth and learning.
Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
Observe, document, and communicate children's developmental progress.
Ensure compliance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations and center policies.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to provide the highest quality care and education.
