The primary duties of a Lead HVAC Installer involve performing retrofit replacements for HVAC systems, working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system, along with checking for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A strong emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include technical aspects, collecting payments, providing accurate and detailed information about homes and situations, and maintaining truck inventory levels. Communication with homeowners about their system's status after service is also required.

Requirements

• Pre-employment background check

• Have and maintain a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems
• Work in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners
• Conduct safety and performance tests for each system(s)
• Check the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks
• Collect payments
• Give accurate and detailed information about each home and situation
• Maintain truck inventory levels
• Communicate with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed
