About The Position

AA Service Company is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer who takes pride in their work and values quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and delivering a superior installation experience. This role is for a craftsman who enjoys solving challenges, building custom sheet metal, mentoring others, and providing a five-star experience for homeowners. The Lead HVAC Installer will manage residential HVAC system installations from beginning to end, including installing various equipment, fabricating ductwork, performing system checks, and ensuring compliance with all standards and codes.

Requirements

  • Hold an EPA Certification
  • 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Ability to independently install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
  • Knowledge of sheet metal layout and fabrication
  • Understanding of proper equipment sizing, layout, and replacement procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take pride in delivering a five-star customer experience
  • Ability to follow processes, installation standards, and safety procedures without cutting corners
  • Possession of own basic HVAC installation tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and handle the physical demands of the job

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with boiler installations and hydronic systems
  • Experience with cast iron and high-efficiency boilers
  • Service Titan experience
  • NATE Certification
  • Startup and commissioning experience
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or junior installers

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential HVAC system installations from start to finish
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and indoor air quality products
  • Fabricate and install residential ductwork and fittings
  • Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment
  • Perform system startups, testing, and quality checks
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and installation records
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Train and mentor installation helpers and apprentices
  • Deliver a five-star customer experience on every job
