Requirements

  • High School Diploma or a GED
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a cleaning environment where maintenance was included.
  • Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive) with the ability to learn new software.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • The ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions orally and in writing in English and in Spanish preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage Housekeeping team and verify that employees are in compliance with company and standard industry practices/ policies regarding cleaning services and safety.
  • Manage Housekeeping team scheduling and training, Address employee performance issues in a timely manner and maintaining documentation of conversations through the use of memos to the record/conference notes.
  • Check & reorder all inventory cleaning supplies & household items to include chemicals and tools. Maintain supply closets stocked and in orderly manner.
  • Notify superiors, facilities department of any damages, deficits, and disturbances or needed repair/ maintenance of facility to include and not limited (furniture, toilet fixtures, basins, mirrors, lavatories, classrooms, common areas, and personnel offices). Instruct Housekeeping staff of procedures to report needed repairs in a timely manner, or emergencies if the need arises .
  • Perform quality checks for cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, and provide schedule to Assistant Program Director for visibility if it effects cleaning operations. Responsible for reviewing facility cleanliness, sanitation and upkeep.
  • Ensure that facility service calls are responded to, scheduled, and completed in a timely and proper manner that minimizes disruptions. Including all emergency issues.
