About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas. Serves as a Resource to staff members when leadership is not available.

Requirements

  • The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
  • Housekeeping experience a must!

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
  • Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
  • Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
  • Maintain good customer relations at all times by demonstrating a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with employees, all departments, coworkers and other pertinent staff.
  • Responsible for managing workload and delegating tasks as needed to other staff members.
  • Maintain competency and serve as a Resource to staff members as needed.
