About The Position

XANITOS IS HIRING A FULL TIME LEAD EVS HOSPITAL HOUSEKEEPER FOR 1ST SHIFT AT UMH-SPARROW IN LANSING, MI. This role involves assisting EVS frontline staff, setting up for shift changes, and providing support with housekeeping processes and procedures. The position requires cleaning and maintaining various areas of the hospital, including rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other work areas, as well as managing waste and replenishing supplies.

Requirements

Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
Medical cleaning a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with EVS frontline staff.
Help set up for shift change.
Provide assistance to frontline staff with any housekeeping process or procedure.
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Polishes metalwork.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
