About The Position

Packet Digital is hiring a Lead Hardware Engineer to drive PCB-based product development and lead a growing engineering team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who wants both design ownership and team influence.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering & 4+ years experience
• Deep PCB design experience (schematic & layout)
• Strong hands-on lab/debug skills (oscopes, power, signal tools)
• Proven ability to lead projects or mentor engineers
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical hardware development across projects
• Design schematics, PCB layouts, and system architectures
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Mentor engineers and drive team performance
• Support proposals, estimating, and project planning
• Lead design reviews and improve engineering processes
• Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware
