About The Position

CAMERON MITCHELL RESTAURANTS is seeking a HOST to join our team! Who are We? We are Great People Delivering Genuine Hospitality. What is Your Role? To make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we do business. Summary: It is the responsibility of Guest Services to make raving fans of the five major groups of people we do business with by creating a positive first impression and making our guests feel welcome on the phone and in person. Guest Services controls the seating of the guests in the dining room to assure the quality of service, guest satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities.
  • Create a positive first impression and make guests feel welcome on the phone and in person.
  • Control the seating of guests in the dining room to assure quality of service, guest satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
  • Maintain and clean uniform according to restaurant requirements.
  • Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits.
  • Exemplify hospitality standards.
  • Answer guests' questions about the restaurant.
  • Handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
  • Cooperate with management and co-workers to assist others with duties, if needed.
  • Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
  • Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
  • Know emergency procedures in the restaurants.
  • Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
