About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Lead Group Counselor to join their team. This role involves providing individual counseling to complex patients, conducting clinical assessments, designing and updating treatment plans, managing caseloads, and collaborating with nurses and providers for holistic treatment. The position is based in Johnson City, TN, and requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Crossroads Treatment Centers is dedicated to treating patients with opioid use disorder through evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and has been a leader in this field since 2005. They operate outpatient clinics across multiple states and are committed to improving access to treatment and fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LADAC certification/license.

Responsibilities

Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
