About The Position

Apple Mountain Golf Club, located in Clarkesville, Georgia, is seeking a full-time, hourly Lead Golf Operations Attendant to join their golf operations team. This position comes with a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, as well as Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay. Golf course experience is preferred. The role involves creating a positive experience for guests and members by assisting with outside services, maintaining the clubhouse and cart areas, preparing carts for play, and supporting tournament and outing execution. The Lead Attendant will also educate players on course policies, manage practice facilities, handle club rentals, and ensure the upkeep of the cart fleet. Additionally, this role supports food and beverage activities, cleans golf clubs, incorporates safe work practices, and assists in training, scheduling, and leading other golf operations team members. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Please note that the job description may not be exhaustive and duties may change.

Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Additional days are flexible.

Golf course experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Brown Golf Management.
Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
May direct start of play.
Responsible for facilitating club rentals according to Club and Brown Golf procedures.
Responsible for cart fleet’s upkeep and facilitating necessary maintenance when needed.
Assists with food and beverage activities.
Cleans golfers clubs upon completion of play.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Supports in training, scheduling and leading other members of the golf operations team.
Regular and reliable attendance.
