About The Position

This role is within Nike's product creation team, focusing on apparel at the intersection of sport, culture, and performance for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA). The position partners daily with Product Management, Design, Development, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, Brand, and external athlete teams. It involves collaboration across a highly matrixed global organization and reports into product leadership without direct reports. The ideal candidate is a driven, strategic product leader who influences through others, thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, and understands athletes, consumers, and culture to translate insights into distinctive, globally scalable product narratives. This leader operates at the intersection of creativity and business, balancing athlete vision, consumer relevance, and commercial performance with a strong product point of view, deep understanding of apparel creation, and the ability to navigate a global portfolio. They are comfortable in high-visibility situations impacting brand perception, athlete relationships, and business trajectory, demonstrating sound judgment, accountability, and clarity in ambiguity. They build trust quickly, communicate clearly, operate with confidence, and push for excellence throughout the product lifecycle, bringing authenticity, curiosity, and a relentless focus on delivering industry-defining product.
