About The Position

Shine of Tysons is seeking an energetic and dependable Marketing & Outreach Assistant to connect with homeowners and local businesses in Northern Virginia. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals comfortable interacting with people, enjoy local travel, and are eager to gain experience in marketing, sales, and business development. While extensive sales experience is not required, the company will provide targets, materials, scripts, and direction. The ideal candidate is capable of consistent execution and is not hesitant to initiate conversations. The position involves a blend of office/phone work and local field outreach, ensuring a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Friendly and comfortable talking to new people
• Confident enough to make cold calls or walk into a local business
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Organized and good at following instructions
• Comfortable using basic computer and phone applications
• Motivated by goals and performance bonuses
• Positive and persistent when someone says "not right now"
• Interested in learning more about marketing, sales, or business development
• Previous sales or marketing experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers and businesses
• Re-engaging previous leads and customers
• Following up with older estimates and inquiries
• Sending and scheduling pre-written SMS campaigns
• Delivering marketing materials to targeted local businesses
• Distributing door hangers in specifically selected neighborhoods
• Introducing Shine to businesses and potential referral partners
• Keeping track of outreach and follow-ups
• Helping keep our lead pipeline active and organized
