About The Position

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist to step into a full-time leadership role at a well-established, high-quality private practice in Kingwood, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician looking to lead clinically, shape the future of the practice, and transition into long-term practice leadership. The incoming dentist will work alongside the founding provider, Dr. Chris E. Perkins, who will gradually reduce his clinical schedule beginning October 2026 and fully retire by December 2026, creating a clear path to full clinical leadership. Chris E Perkins DDS & Associates is supported by Star Dental Partners. We are grounded in a private-practice mindset, even with the added support of a larger organization behind the scenes. Day-to-day dentistry is shaped locally—by the doctors and teams who care for the patients—not by distant decision-makers or rigid mandates. Clinical judgment comes first — Dentists maintain full authority over diagnosis and treatment planning. Patient relationships matter — We value continuity, trust, and long-term care over volume. Dentistry here is relationship-driven, not transaction-based. Support without interference — Administrative and operational support exists to reduce burden, not to control clinical decisions or day-to-day practice flow. Respectful, stable office environment — Teams are collaborative, experienced, and treated with professionalism. Dentists are viewed as leaders within the office. Reasonable expectations and pacing — Schedules are designed to support quality care, not rushed dentistry or burnout. Transparency and fairness — Expectations, scheduling, and compensation are communicated clearly and consistently, without moving targets. Collaboration is optional, not imposed — Clinical input and mentorship are available when helpful, while independence is respected at every career stage. While additional infrastructure exists to support the practice operationally, the culture, patient care, and clinical approach remain rooted in traditional private practice values. Dentists who appreciate autonomy, ethical care, and a respectful work environment tend to do well—and stay—here.
