Lead GCP Data Architect
About The Position
Naveera Technology LLC is seeking a Lead GCP Data Architect with over 10 years of experience to join their team. This role involves leading large-scale AWS-to-GCP cloud transformation initiatives, modernizing enterprise data platforms, ETL pipelines, and analytics ecosystems. The position will drive innovation across cloud-native data engineering, Data Lakehouse architectures, and next-generation Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and a proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures. This is a full-time, remote position with general shift timings to support offshore and onsite teams, preferably located on the East Coast of the USA.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, AlloyDB, Dataplex, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Networking, and Cloud Security.
- Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures, integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
- Experience in solution architecture, technical design documentation, architecture reviews (ARB), technical debt assessment, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment automation, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Strong knowledge of cloud governance, data security, audit logging, exception handling, compliance frameworks, and cloud best practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps teams, Engineering teams, PMO, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting architecture options, technical recommendations, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments to leadership and technical teams.

- Experience migrating enterprise BI platforms from Qlik Sense to Looker.
- Exposure to global enterprise customers.
