About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/ Cylinder Gas Lead for our Austin location. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations and training of the cylinder gas team, interfacing with customers for maintenance and repairs, and coordinating orders and deliveries. The position also requires monitoring cylinder gas inventory, overseeing bulk gas delivery and offloading, and conducting safety and quality inspections of incoming cylinders. Additionally, the Lead Gas Cylinder Technician will prepare weekly reports, maintain gas systems, and work within defined technical processes to drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
10 years of manufacturing or operations experience
3-5 years experience with Air Product gas cabinets
Mechanically inclined
Ability to troubleshoot system equipment
Good communication skills
Attentive to detail
Collaborative
Organized
SOP and work instruction knowledge

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in a related technical discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
ISO9000 knowledge

Responsibilities
