About The Position

We’re hiring a Full-Stack Developer at VioletX, and this is not a standard engineering role. If you’ve built and shipped a commercial product before and want to own the engineering behind something meaningful, this is your shot to lead the build on a product that customers are already waiting for. This isn’t a “let’s build and see what happens” project. We have real demand today. The work you do will directly impact businesses from day one. You’ll be the lead engineer. No layers of approvals—just you, a clear roadmap, and the ability to ship. You’re building for real customers. No waiting to “find market fit.” The demand is here. You’ll shape the product and the engineering culture. This is an early, high-impact role. LA-based team, working in person. We believe the best ideas come from working closely together.

Requirements

• You’ve built and shipped a commercial product before.
• You know what it takes to take something from 0 → 1.
• You’re strong across the stack. Whether it's React, Node.js, Python, or another modern framework, you can build.
• You thrive in fast-moving environments.
• You like solving problems, not waiting on approval chains.
• You’re based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of a commercial product that will define a new category.
• Make key architectural decisions and set the foundation for how we scale.
• Work across the stack—front-end, back-end, infrastructure—whatever it takes to build and ship fast.
• Collaborate with a high-trust, high-execution team that values real work over process theater.
