About The Position

The Lead Front End Software Engineer (Java) role adds leadership of technical design and development, complex problem resolution, guidance and support for colleagues, code and documentation reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives. This role requires strong UX Design skills, team leadership, and coding experience, preferably in a large banking or financial institution environment. The engineer will create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions, propose and design solutions to address complex business needs, and prepare necessary technical and procedural documentation. Key aspects of the role include facilitating complex problem resolution, providing technical guidance and support to colleagues, and reviewing coding, testing, and documentation. The position emphasizes applying modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities, with a focus on customer needs and satisfaction, and managing risks within the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

8+ Years of experience preferably in a large banking / financial institution environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
