About The Position

The Lead Food Service Team Member leads by example, supports the team, and helps deliver fresh food and exceptional customer service. The role keeps food service operations running smoothly and helps ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready to serve. The Lead Food Service Team Member models Maverik’s Greet, Engage, and Thank (GET) customer service expectations, supports and trains Team Members, and helps create a positive customer experience. The role also prepares and cooks Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes and maintains appealing food displays.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older to apply.
• Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Must have schedule flexibility, including potential nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Conduct orientation and training for Team Members, ensuring proper and safe food preparation.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
• Prepare and cook Maverik Bonfire food items according to recipes.
• Maintain enticing food displays.
• Help keep food service operations running smoothly and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready to serve.
