About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day food service operations for Nutrition Services. Oversees staff and services related but not limited to in-room dining program, cafeteria, utility, and catering. Training in all positions; covers positions as assigned. Assures correct safety and sanitation procedures are being followed. Leads training of new staff. Conducts audits, competencies and patient rounding. Assists with scheduling.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of food service experience is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
• Serv Safe Certified required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Hospital or large volume operations is preferred.
• Purchasing experience preferred.
• Food service software application experience preferred.
