Lead FMS Application Engineer
About The Position
As a Lead Application Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide technical expertise and support to customers and business partners, focusing on solutions and technical support for manufacturers of simulation devices used to train aircraft operators. The team supports all Honeywell avionics products across military and commercial aircraft, offering data, technical support, and software products that incorporate avionics software from Honeywell Aerospace, including Air Transport Flight Management Systems (FMS), Nav DB, and Aircraft Environmental Surveillance Systems (AESS). This role requires addressing multiple requests in different software languages across various avionics platforms. You will help enable the organization's success by executing software and hardware deployment and supporting internal business projects and processes. You will collaborate with the product team to enhance product and application features related to flight simulation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues during project implementation and leading technical discussions with customers regarding implementation, configuration, and architecture choices.
Requirements
- Technical expertise in avionics products, including Air Transport Flight Management Systems (FMS), Nav DB, and Aircraft Environmental Surveillance Systems (AESS).
- Experience addressing multiple requests in different software languages across various avionics platforms.
- Experience with software and hardware deployment.
