About The Position
Comfort Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Fireplace Installer to lead residential fireplace installations, ensuring high standards of safety, craftsmanship, and customer service. This role is suited for a skilled installer who excels at project leadership, team mentoring, field problem-solving, and providing outstanding customer experiences. The company has been a leading provider of heating, air conditioning, fireplaces, and plumbing services in Utah since 2000.
Requirements
- 3+ years of fireplace installation experience preferred
- Proven leadership or crew lead experience
- Strong knowledge of gas fireplaces, venting systems, and installation best practices
- Ability to read installation manuals, blueprints, and job specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various environments
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Lead residential fireplace installation projects from start to finish
- Install gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces
- Install venting, chimney, and gas systems according to code and manufacturer specifications
- Mentor and train apprentice and junior installers
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Perform system startup, testing, and final inspections
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
