About The Position

Confires Fire Services is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to service, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. The position involves testing commercial fire alarm systems, responding to service requests, diagnosing malfunctions, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment to bring systems into compliance with NFPA and local code standards. The technician prepares accurate and timely inspection and service reports. A NICET certificate is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points.
• Excellent attendance, communication, and customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to be available on-call when scheduled.

Nice To Haves

• NICET certification, preferred but not required.
• Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
• Respond to service requests and diagnose fire alarm system malfunctions.
• Adjust, repair, or replace equipment as needed to bring systems into compliance.
• Test and inspect fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and local code standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely inspection and service reports.
• Be available on-call when scheduled.
