We’re seeking a highly skilled Lead Fire Alarm & Security Service Technician to join our growing field service team. Requirements
- NICET Certification required
- Experience servicing fire alarm and/or security systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of wiring, devices, and system programming
- Ability to work independently and manage field responsibilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in active field environments
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair fire alarm, intrusion, and life-safety systems
- Troubleshoot wiring, device communication, and programming issues
- Respond to customer service calls and system alerts efficiently
- Perform system testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Replace or upgrade devices, panels, and related components
- Make programming adjustments and system modifications
- Complete battery replacements and routine maintenance tasks
- Ensure systems meet operational and safety standards
- Accurately document service activity and materials used
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service on every jobsite
