About The Position

The Lead Financial Analyst develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control. This role involves leading financial reporting for daily tier level discussions, providing early insights into variance drivers, and collaborating with subject matter experts to identify risks and opportunities. The analyst will partner with plant leadership to review manufacturing output targets, balancing capacity, cost, and delivery impacts. Key responsibilities include proactively improving existing reporting to enhance insights into Operations performance, understanding and researching key variances to Budget and Outlook, and guiding strategy to ensure the plant achieves annual operating targets. The position also leads and executes the annual budget process for the plant, connecting annual financial targets with cost drivers, and supports business cases for capital investments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, OneStream (or similar) and PowerBI
  • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines and regulations
  • Advanced communication skills, and ability to develop and deliver full presentations in a influential manner
  • Demonstrated capacity to influence and communicate with business partners at all levels in the organization; including executives
  • Ability to demonstrate professional skepticism

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial reporting for daily tier level discussions, providing early insights into variance drivers and partnering with subject matter experts to understand risks and opportunities
  • Partner with plant leadership to review manufacturing output targets as needed to balance capacity, cost and delivery impacts
  • Proactively improve upon existing reporting to provide better insights into Operations performance
  • Understand key variances to Budget and Outlook, research drivers and assist in guiding the strategy to ensure the plant hits annual operating targets
  • Lead and execute the annual budget process for the plant connecting the dots between annual financial targets and cost drivers
  • Support business cases on capital investments
  • Other duties as assigned
