About The Position

This role focuses on complex financial analysis supporting enterprise or divisional stakeholders. The analyst will conduct complex analyses such as forecasting and financial modeling, and provide thought leadership to the development of financial methodologies and approaches. They will also conduct ad hoc and periodic evaluation reviews to help assess the profitability of product lines and distribution channels. The position establishes and deploys subject matter expertise across financial, accounting, and regulatory areas to support complex client matters and creates presentations for senior leaders. The analyst will own enterprise channel and product costing models, produce end-user cost matrices, and implement systematic approaches to maintaining and improving these models. They will also provide support and input into client and product pricing, manage responses to requests for information related to internal business statistics and trends, and identify opportunities to improve the delivery of financial services to internal clients. The role involves structuring and managing projects, supporting the financial development and growth of the team, and participating in special projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years related work experience
  • At least two years financial services industry experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • Graduate degree preferred
  • CPA, CFM, CMA, or other financial designation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leads initiatives and goals focusing on complex financial analysis supporting enterprise or divisional stakeholders.

  • Engages appropriate resources to support requests, determines appropriate sources of information, collects, compiles, interprets, analyzes and summarizes results in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the delivery of financial services to internal clients and implements procedural changes, as needed.
  • Structures and manages projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Supports the financial development and growth of the team.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
