This role will lead critical finance initiatives, partnering across broader finance and accounting teams to drive and accelerate business priorities that align with strategic and financial goals. The Lead Financial Analyst will provide financial insights and develop a point of view on critical business decisions, assist in leading the daily function of the financial analyst team, and facilitate annual and long-range financial planning processes across the organization. This role involves advanced coordination and collaboration with managers for the completion of annual operating and capital budgets. The analyst will maintain and report management systems, reviewing all financial data for accuracy, and maintain various departmental statistical and financial data. Projects include evaluating the financial impact of new programs, formulating financial forecasts and modeling, preparing projections for new building projects, rate analysis, and other projects. An advanced understanding of accounting principles and standards is required. The lead financial analyst must be professional and demonstrate leadership ability, with the capacity to use knowledge in making forecasts based on statistical analysis and interpret complex financial and accounting data. The role requires an individual who is self-directed and autonomous, yet capable of working in an interdependent role. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills are necessary to collaborate with managers. Attention to detail is essential, and work must be well-documented. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees, both orally and in writing, is crucial.
