The Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all SOPs are followed exactly as written and assist department in achieving all KOMs including the plant TRR goal. The Lead will be responsible for the direct technical and functional work of maintenance employees on the respective shift. The Lead must be willing to work an adjusted schedule including weekends. Ensure completion of the shift’s assigned PM’s and other work orders, correctly and on time. A key responsibility is to interface with customers and ensure proper service is being provided by the shift. Assist in ensuring that proper procedures for planning and work orders are followed and assisting maintenance employees as needed. Assist supervisor by developing employees and monitoring performance. Demonstrates ability to lead projects and/or work groups. Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools. Must be able to multi-task. Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred. Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment. Must be a self-starter – work with minimal supervision. Computer skills: working knowledge of MP2, window-based programs and general PLC knowledge. Must have completed one of the Maintenance Process Certifications.
