About The Position

The Shift Lead Field Service Representative is responsible for providing expert technical support, maintaining site relations with customers, developing strategies for optimizing site operations, and leading local field teams to ensure proper operations and level 1 maintenance services are being completed proficiently for customers. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving highly complex technical issues, managing projects, and providing mentorship to Operators.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 5+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in science/engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipment including ultrafiltration and/or membrane bioreactors
  • Ability to travel inside North America without restrictions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
  • Ability to meet all customer site requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to train and mentor a team of Operators.
  • PLC Programming

Nice To Haves

  • Project management skills and experience are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, computer science, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a field service, plant production or technical support role.
  • Expert knowledge of electronics, chemistry, mechanics, computer systems, and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve highly complex technical issues and service calls.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and develop maintenance strategy on a wide range of equipment and systems.
  • Mentor a team in conducting level 1 preventive maintenance, system optimization, and performance tuning tasks.
  • Manage and coordinate technical projects, including installations, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to Operators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Accurately document service activities and maintain detailed records.
  • Maintain account management activities by working within our Veolia digital tool suite including logging hours and PM in ServiceMax/Salesforce/MaintainX, completing site safety inspections in Gensuite, generating reporting in InSight, and more.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Indirect Supervision of Field Service Representatives(FSR)/Operators assigned to shift.
