Lead Event Specialist Part Time
About The Position
Product Connections is seeking a part-time Lead Event Specialist to create engaging shopping experiences through product demonstrations inside Sam's Club. The role involves interacting with customers, providing product samples, supporting event operations, and serving as a resource for other team members. Training and support are provided; prior demonstration experience is not required. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfort interacting with customers and supporting team members.
- Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer for scheduling and reporting.
- Food Safety Certification is required; additional food handling certifications may be required based on local regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, and climb a step ladder as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, food service, hospitality, product demonstrations, or team leadership is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and break down in-store product demonstrations.
- Engage customers and communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples while following food safety standards.
- Maintain demonstration equipment, supplies, and a clean work area.
- Support team members and serve as the in-store point of contact when a supervisor is unavailable.
- Build relationships with store personnel and support client visits and audits.
- Complete required reporting, documentation, and event photos.
- Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
