About The Position

The Lead Enterprise Data Architect provides senior-level technical expertise for Valkyrie’s enterprise data architecture, application integration, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives. This role is responsible for designing scalable data integration and automation solutions that connect enterprise business systems, establish authoritative data sources, and enable advanced analytics and AI capabilities across the organization while ensuring alignment with Valkyrie’s infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements. This opportunity has the option to be hybrid/remote. The Lead Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for designing and implementing Valkyrie’s enterprise data architecture and integration capabilities across the organization’s core business systems. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, integration patterns, and automation workflows that enable reliable data sharing between enterprise platforms and support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making. This position works across enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, productivity platforms, and other operational applications to identify integration opportunities, improve data consistency, and eliminate manual processes. The role translates business requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions that enable reliable data exchange and enterprise automation. The Lead Enterprise Data Architect also supports the development of Valkyrie’s enterprise data platform by establishing standards for data modeling, integration architecture, and data pipeline design. These efforts help ensure enterprise data is organized, governed, and accessible to support reporting, analytics, and emerging artificial intelligence initiatives while maintaining alignment with Valkyrie’s infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have a advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science,Engineering, or a related technical field and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have senior-level experience designing or implementing enterprise data architecture,data engineering solutions, or large-scale data integration platforms.
  • Must demonstrate experience designing and implementing system integrations using APIs, data models, and automation tools.
  • Must demonstrate experience building or managing data pipelines, data platforms, or enterprise data environments used to support analytics and operational systems.
  • Must demonstrate experience supporting or enabling artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives through well-structured enterprise data environments.
  • Must demonstrate experience designing and implementing automation workflows that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
  • Must demonstrate experience working with enterprise business systems such as ERP, HRIS, CRM, identity platforms, or similar operational systems.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
  • Must comply with all Valkyrie Enterprises security policies and procedures.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating or supporting enterprise platforms such as Deltek Costpoint, Paycor, Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar enterprise systems, preferred.
  • Experience designing enterprise data warehouse, data lake, or modern data platform architectures, preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, or business intelligence initiatives, preferred.
  • Experience working in government contracting or regulated environments, preferred.
