About The Position

Engineering Business Operations is transforming how Engineering operates by building a consistent operating system that improves execution, strengthens quality, and drives better customer outcomes. The Engineering Execution Quality Lead will drive this transformation by driving practical improvements in engineering processes, strengthening design quality, preventing defects, increasing First Pass Yield, and helping standardize operating mechanisms across the Engineering value stream. This role requires strong execution discipline, collaboration, and the ability to influence process adoption across engineering teams.

  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, or Operational Excellence, with demonstrated experience driving technical process improvements and cross-functional execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrable expertise in Lean principles, and modern Quality Management Systems.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and support change across cross-functional teams without direct line authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Engineering Execution Quality roadmap by translating priorities into practical operating practices and measurable execution improvements.
  • Embed In-Process Quality into engineering workflows through standardized execution practices and clear quality expectations.
  • Apply governance, risk review, and standard work practices to help ensure compliance with quality expectations and reduce execution risk.
  • Use tools, systems, and digital enablers to improve visibility, standardize execution, and support data-driven problem solving.
  • Improve engineering quality by strengthening prevention-focused processes that reduce defects, increase First Pass Yield, and improve process capability.
  • Lead operating mechanisms and leading indicators that improve visibility, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Review NCRs, RCAs, customer feedback, COPQ, and engineering performance data to identify recurring issues and support preventive action.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain, Sourcing, Business Lines, Product Management, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to understand value stream performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support execution metrics and roadmap actions that strengthen end-to-end quality.
  • Build team capability and support change adoption through training, coaching, cross-functional alignment, and reinforcement of improved ways of working.
