Responsibilities

  • Define, specify, qualify, install, support, and optimize manufacturing test processes and equipment solutions independently.
  • Lead test-process optimization across a broad set of equipment within an Operations value stream, with a focus on cycle-time and yield improvements.
  • Debug test processes and equipment using design of experiments, tools, and failure-analysis methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Process, and Equipment engineers to detect and resolve product, test-yield, and performance issues.
  • Develop improvement roadmaps for test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, test-time reductions, and OEE.
  • Analyze yield reports, equipment logs, and product diagnostics to identify sources of yield loss.
  • Provide solution support to Process Engineers to improve detection of known defect types as part of a Process Control plan.
  • Support integration of test equipment into Manufacturing Execution Systems, including yield, tester-log, and product-parametric information.
  • Accept, transfer, install, improve, and maintain automatic and manual test equipment and test programs used for product testing and design verification.
