About The Position

The Lead Endpoint Engineer (Workplace Service Delivery Lead Org) serves as a senior technical authority responsible for driving Raytheon’s endpoint technology strategy in close partnership with RTX’s enterprise Endpoint Technology teams. This role oversees the definition of requirements, evaluates and approves technical solutions and changes, manages user acceptance testing, and coordinates end‑user change management across the organization. As Raytheon’s designated voting representative on Enterprise review boards, the Lead Endpoint Engineer must possess deep expertise in endpoint technologies, including PC hardware standards, Microsoft platforms, security and cyber tooling, privilege management solutions, and critical client applications. The role requires regular collaboration with Digital service delivery leaders, cross‑functional engineering partners, senior leadership, and external vendors to ensure Raytheon’s endpoint ecosystem remains secure, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
  • Experience with Windows OS; endpoint management software including Intune and SCCM; endpoint security and response tools including Microsoft Defender; patch and update management; and software packaging and deployment.
  • Experience with evaluation of hardware performance and identifying issues for correction.
  • Experience in IT service delivery, particularly in endpoint management, digital workplace services, or end-user support.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Raytheon functional partners and Enterprise Services teams to identify, prioritize, and execute endpoint updates and initiatives effectively.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for end-users, ensuring that endpoint technologies are meeting their needs and performance expectations.
  • Represent Raytheon during Enterprise governance boards. Understand Raytheon’s needs and represent them as the official voice for Raytheon when approving changes at the Enterprise level.
  • Establish and manage Raytheon’s User Acceptance Test community, ensuring changes are tested thoroughly before rolling out to the general community.
  • Act as a technical evaluator and escalation point for users experiencing performance issues with their endpoint assets, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Ensure that all endpoint solutions and processes adhere to RTX’s compliance standards, including security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
