About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Lead Enclosure Product Engineer to join our team in our Cherrington Office - Moon Township, PA. This role will drive New Product Introductions in support of our Product and Technical Roadmaps. This role serves as the technical authority for enclosure product design, leading the development of innovative new products that enable new sales growth and market opportunities. Strong core technical expertise, combined with a creative and disciplined problem solving mindset, is essential for success. Effective collaboration, leadership, and personal drive will be critical to delivering meaningful business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering product design experience
  • 3+ years of CAD modeling experience; Pro-E CREO / Inventor / Solid Works or similar
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

  • Proficient use of heat transfer skills sets and basic electrical principles

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for Residential Enclosure projects that expand the product portfolio, partnering within cross functional teams including Product Line Management, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Provide technical product input to Eaton business processes, including Technical Roadmaps, Strategic Planning, Waterfalling, and Profit Planning.
  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership in resolving complex product and technical issues, driving them efficiently to closure.
  • Develop a strong understanding of residential power systems and applicable governing codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross functional stakeholders across the organization to achieve program goals and meet assigned responsibilities.
  • Operate within established financial guidelines, including project expenses, capital allocations, and target product costs.
