About The Position
LifeStar Response is looking for a Lead Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team! This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, holding teams accountable, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to handle employee issues professionally and objectively
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Experience in EMS, transportation, healthcare, logistics, or a similar operational environment preferred
- Experience with Samsara or fleet/telematics systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Tracking attendance, punctuality, call-offs, and timekeeping issues
- Addressing employee concerns such as lateness, dress code, professionalism, and performance
- Providing coaching and participating in corrective action
- Troubleshooting scheduling and staffing issues
- Generating and reviewing operational reports
- Conducting fact-finding and employee investigations
- Maintaining uniform inventory and coordinating orders
- Managing truck and vehicle logistics between bases
- Monitoring Samsara activity and providing driver coaching
- Working closely with Operations and HR to resolve employee and operational concerns
- Supporting supervisors and employees with day-to-day operational needs
- Identifying recurring issues and helping develop solutions
