This position involves troubleshooting, HVAC rewiring, testing, installing, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and components. It requires applying knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation, providing skilled mechanical and electrical support to all areas.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Familiarity with a wide range of electrical troubleshooting techniques.
Experience making repair and replace decisions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with NEC electrical codes.
Strong work ethic.
Possess tools needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent
8+ years’ experience in commercial, residential, or industrial electrical work preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently.
Squatting, sitting, bending, climbing ladders, etc.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues.
Understand and apply technical diagrams and blueprints.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
Use various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers along with hand and power tools.
Install or replace wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices.
Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses.
Document the work completed and materials used in system.
Other duties as assigned.
